Peru, Mucho Gusto and Peru Travel are among the best in the world at FITUR 2017

After an arduous work that had the participation of thousands of Peruvians, the event "Peru, Mucho Gusto" was chosen winner in the twenty-second edition of the competition for the Best Active Tourism Product, organized by the International Tourism Fair (FITUR).

Likewise, the mobile application "Peru Travel" was consolidated among the three best in the world of the international competition The AppTurism Awards, elaborated by the State Mercantile Society for the Management of Innovation and Technologies (Segittur) of Spain.

The announcement was made during the development of the fair, considered one of the most important in the world, which brings together tour operators, hotels, train companies, airlines and governmental entities in charge of promoting tourism, with the aim of boosting development and marketing of the tourism industry.

The jury in charge of choosing the best product with an offer based on international enogastronomy was composed by readers of the magazine Aire Libre, exhibitors of Fitur 2017, media and representatives of the tourism sector who evaluated aspects such as original idea, presentation and image of the product, contribution to the recovery of the environment and sustainable development, quality of infrastructures, marketing and distribution channels.

On the other hand, the contest, organized by the Spanish entity that sought to reward the best applications at the international level to help improve the experience of travelers, was made up of a jury of experts from technology, tourism, marketing Online and communication sectors.

About the winners
