The success of the Marca Perú campaign marked a turning point in the history of national publicity. "Perú, Nebraska" is considered as the country’s most successful publicity campaign in local history. The video had a big impact on the national broadcasting media with a return of S./ 5,273,417; whereas ambassador brands invested S./ 7,600 thousand in advertising. A total of 1,400 brand licensing requests were received and 42 awards were won, including the "Ojo de Iberoamérica", "Creatividad Empresarial", Effie, Webby Awards and Cannes Lions.
