Marisol Rodríguez was declared winner of "The Most Friendly Peruvian" contest by selflessly helping two Swiss cyclists to get from Pueblo Libre to Jorge Chavez airport.
She deserved to win by guiding both tourists to the airport on her own bike – a round trip of 20 kilometres!
The idea behind the contest was to promote values and positive attitudes among Peruvians with emphasis on being kind towards national and foreign tourists.
