Fueled by the initiatives of the Ruta Exportadora Gamarra (Gamarra Export Route) project, companies are successfully securing export agreements with several countries.
The sky is the limit! Since joining the Gamarra Export Route, Aventurina, a small company specializing in the production and distribution of apparel for various professional sectors, as well as trendy attire for both genders, has successfully conducted no fewer than three exports to the United States. Additionally, the company is currently scheduling forthcoming shipments to the markets of Canada and Bolivia.
This instance serves as a notable demonstration of the accomplishments realized by 15 Peruvian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating within the Gamarra emporium after enhancing their expertise and capabilities during the inaugural Gamarra Export Route initiative, facilitated by the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (PROMPERÚ).
It is noteworthy that, initially, the promoting entity conducted comprehensive fieldwork by visiting galleries within the Gamarra Commercial Emporium. During this process, numerous companies exhibiting export potential were identified, subsequently diagnosed, and evaluated by specialists from PROMPERÚ. This meticulous assessment resulted in the enrollment of several of these companies into a program aimed at propelling them towards expanded employment prospects.
The anticipated international expansion stems from a comprehensive acquisition of skills via training in export management, product supply for export, quality assurance, development of exportable products, access to global markets, digital marketing, financial proficiency, social responsibility, negotiation strategies, and other pertinent subjects. These competencies are deemed essential for embarking upon the export journey effectively.

Entrepreneurs were allowed to showcase their exportable offerings through dedicated stands, engaging with over 200 discerning buyers with a keen interest in global fashion trends, and a readiness to explore Peruvian materials and inputs, including the esteemed pyma cotton.
The Peru Fashion & Deco event stands as a paramount gathering within our nation's textile industry. Participation in this esteemed occasion offers a premier platform for engaging with buyers hailing from regions spanning the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Noteworthy for its appeal to diverse international markets, this fair presents an invaluable opportunity for fostering connections with new international clientele. It serves as a conduit for Peruvian companies seeking to forge enduring relationships and solidify their presence within the global market.
