Peruvian companies achieved USD 5.9 million in sales and projected future deals at the event.
Peruvian exporters who participated in the Peru Moda: Jewelry, footwear and accessories event secured deals worth USD 5.9 million. This success came from 287 business meetings with international buyers, as reported by the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (PROMPERU).
Of these transactions, USD 5.1 million are linked to 12-month business projections, while USD 814,222 were sales made during the event.

Promising future
The event saw participation from 30 Peruvian companies from Lima, La Libertad, Arequipa, Piura, Cajamarca, Junín, and Ayacucho. Among them, 14 were first-time participants. In the footwear and accessories sector, 19 companies took part, while the jewelry sector featured 11 national companies. International interest was strong, with buyers from the United States, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile, and Mexico showing significant interest in Peruvian products.
Erika Vala, owner of New York-based Shoe Market, praised the footwear offerings from Peruvian producers. "It's fantastic to see all these factories together; this format works really well for smaller boutiques," she commented.
