2016 Peru Service Summit Business Conference reached US$ 92 million, obtaining international recognition for Peruvian services’ quality. 6th Export and Services International Forum welcomed 500 visitors and over 45,000 participated via streaming. Peruvian entrepreneurs have worked hard to offer great quality services. Recognizing also the 100 international contractors’ great disposition.Markets with highest demand in the event were architecture with 58 %, software with 22 %, and editorials with 6 % as well as the digital marketing. Visiting entrepreneurs with best business deals were from Bolivia, representing 51 % of projected business total budget, Brazil with 13 % and Ecuador and Chile with 7 %. Magali Silva Velarde- Álvarez, Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, and president of PROMPERÚ’s Board of Directors, stated that Peru is currently not only an exporter of high quality products like potatoes, quinoa or maca; It is also internationally recognized for providing quality services, creating more job positions for thousands of Peruvian families.
