Three new Peruvian companies of technology entered the competitive Brazilian market to offer diverse services and software. PROMPERU thus promotes the internalization and presence of national products.
The arrival of Peruvian companies was achieved thanks to the efforts of the Peru Tech Brasil consortium, which was created in February 2016 by the Peruvian Commercial Office in Sao Paulo (OCEX Sao Paulo), with the support of PROMPERU, and as a part Of the National Strategic Exports Plan (PENX).
As it is public knowledge, Brasil is the largest market in Latin America in information technology (IT) and seventh in the world, with more than US$ 60 billion generated in this sector in 2015, according to the Brazilian Association of Software Companies (ABES).
