Peru and the Pacific Alliance
In the first half of the year, Peru’s exports to the rest of the block totaled US$1.0893 billion, up 5.4% from the same period in 2016.
The Pacific Alliance was conceived as an economic development initiative that is now the foundation of a new way of doing business on the continent, with a system in place for political and economic partnership and cooperation and integration that aims to create a space to promote greater growth and competitiveness in the Alliance’s four economies.
