The Peru Country Brand was in front of the eyes of the world at APEC 2016

Peru Country Brand showed how to enjoy Peru with all five senses. Peruvian gastronomy, export products, music and culture were displayed in the bar specially prepared for those attending the APEC 2016 Forum.

The event, attended by world-class personalities such as former US President Barack Obama, Russian President Vladimir Putin and the creator of the Facebook social network Mark Zuckerberg, put Peru in front of the eyes of the world and was the perfect opportunity to expose its millenary culture. APEC 2016 fulfilled important activities throughout its duration.

Among them was the Gala Dinner to the leaders and officials who participated in the summit, where the potato, a Peruvian flag product, was the main protagonist in the dinner hosted by President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski and his wife Nancy Lange.

With the Asia Pacific Economic Forum it was demonstrated that Peru is qualified to host very important international events. This was a great opportunity for Peruvian business, culture and gastronomy, which stood out in the international market.
