Antonio Banderas enchanted by Peruvian designer Yirko Sivirich

Spanish actor and producer Antonio Banderas used his official Facebook account to express his great admiration for Peruvian designer Yirko Sivirich. Sivirich’s creativity and top-end garments captivated the leading Spanish actor, a Golden Globe nominee.

Banderas attended the 2017 edition of Miami Fashion Week, the top Latin American fashion event, held in the United States. It seeks to spotlight the talent of designers and experts and popularize creations by the most fashionista cities in Latin America.

Sivirich took part in the latest edition of Miami Fashion Week, where he was invited to present his Resort collection. The Peruvian designer, who took inspiration from surfer culture in his designs, was praised for his creative staging. Moreover, the blog Fashion Weekly Daily proclaimed him a designer to watch.

Sivirich responded to these positive reviews by using the same medium as Banderas: his Facebook account. There, he wrote the following: “Gracias por todo. Abrazo Grande Antonio Banderas” (Thanks for everything. A big hug to Antonio Banderas).
