Peru and fashion: beyond Mario Testino

Fashion in Peru is linked to the name of photographer Mario Testino, a genius behind the camera. The history of fashion in Peru is without doubt one of comings and goings, trends and influences.

An example of this is the case of Jorge Luis Salinas, who achieved international success after creating his brand Emporium. Other successful Peruvian designers and trendsetters are Meche Correa, Titi Guiulfo, Sumy Kujon, Sergio Davila, Fátima Arrieta, Andrea Llosa, Giuliana Testino, Harumi Momota, Lucia Cuba, Pepe Corzo and Jose Miguel Valdivia.

Many of their works have been exhibited at "Perú Moda" and the Lima Fashion Week, opening doors to the more exclusive boutiques of New York, London, Paris, and other cities.
