National Films: The truth about Peruvian history

Peruvian Association of Cinematographic Press presents ‘Peruvian Cinema and Memory’ at the Cineclub Ojos Abiertos of the Universidad Tecnológica del Peru Culture Center.

It was organized with the support of Human Rights and Memories Audiovisual Exhibition. The projects were: ‘Su nombre es Fujimori’ (His name is Fujimori) documentary by Fernando Vílchez, released online during recent runoff election; ‘NN’ film by Héctor Gálvez, awarded 2015 best Peruvian film by APRECI; and the award-winning film ‘Magallanes’ directed by Salvador del Solar with performances by Damián Alcázar and Magaly Solier.

Screenings took place on July 13th, 20th and 27th at 7:30 p.m., at Elisa Toullier de Valcárcel Auditorium, at UTP, and presented by Rodrigo Portales. Admission was free of charge.
