The videoclip 'Abre tus manos', by the Peruvian foundation "Inspira", was recently awarded a Bronze statuette in the 40th edition of the prestigious Telly Award; being recognized as the Best Social Video in the General Non Profit category.
‘Abre tus manos’ was performed by more than 40 singers and artists; its production being made possible by a team of more than 100 people. Gustavo García was involved in the general production; Jaime Cuadra was in charge of the musical production, while Pelo D'Ambrosio and Lalo Paredes were responsible for the lyrics and arrangements, respectively.
The purpose of this video clip is to raise awareness and publicize the activity carried out by the "Inspira" shelter, founded by Dr. Ricardo Pun Chong (Winner of the CNN Hero of the Year Award).
"Inspira" is dedicated to giving homes to children with cancer who come from the interior of the country to be treated for this disease, and the theme song seeks to urge more people to join the cause.

This year, the Telly Awards are celebrating four decades of paying tribute to the video and television industry. New categories were included in this edition, incorporating serialized branded content and expanded social video categories.
The Telly Awards attracted more than 12,000 entries last year from leading video content producers, including Condé Nast, Netflix, Refinery29, RadicalMedia, T Brand Studio and Ogilvy & Mather.
