Peru Country Brand: Alexandra Grande wins the gold medal in the Karate Premier League

Putting Peru at the top! The Peruvian karateka and ambassador of the Peru Brand, Alexandra Grande Risco, just can’t stop winning trophies abroad, proof of this being the latest gold medal she won in the 2017 Karate Premier League, the highest award in the martial arts discipline. 

Grande participated in the 61 kg division of the tournament held in Toledo, Spain. The Peruvian sportswoman faced the Portuguese Raquel Simao Ana in the final, our compatriot being the overall winner.

The story of Alexandra Grande in this sport is full of success; it is the fourth year that the sportswoman has achieved a prize on the circuit, winning the bronze medal in Australia (2014) and Brazil (2015). Last year she won the gold medal in the final held in Salzburg, Austria.

A Peruvian whose international achievements and successes make her an example of perseverance and pride for Peru.
