Celebration took place on 13 August 2012 in Iquitos. The New7Wonders foundation certified the Amazon as Wonder of the Natural World. This award can also be admired in Lima in "Parque de la Reserva" (Park of the Reserve), home of the Magic Water Tour, in the form of a replica of the bronze plaque in Iquitos.
