Peru with 47 nominations in the regional World Travel Awards

The excellence of our tourism sector has been recognized by the World Travel Awards (WTA), which nominated Peruvian companies, attractions and entities in 47 categories of the South American edition of the renowned event.
For the 26th South American edition of the WTA, Peru is competing to be the best destination in terms of adventure, nature, culture, cuisine, beaches, whale watching, business, destination city, cruises and destination in general, among other things.
PROMPERÚ will also defend the title of Best Tourist Office in South America, an award it has won for the last three years in a row.
It is worth mentioning that awards are given based on votes received through the World Travel Awards website. From March 25 to May 24, there will be the opportunity to vote for Peruvian nominees. The winners will be revealed on July 13, at the awards ceremony to be held in La Paz (Bolivia).
As for the Peruvian private sector, it is competing in various categories, such as the best boutique cruise service and the best private jet. The hotel sector has also obtained several nominations and hotels compete to be the best hotel, best airport hotel, best new hotel, best luxury boutique, best resort and best romantic resort, among other categories.
Finally, Peruvian tour operators and train companies have also been nominated as offering the best service to tourists in South America.
