First stop: World of Coffee 2024
The first stop is Copenhagen, Denmark, from June 27-29, 2024. World of Coffee, hosted by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), stands as Europe's biggest coffee trade show. It brings together over 400 exhibitors and 10,000 attendees from 130+ countries to celebrate and savor coffee. Peru will proudly showcase what makes our coffee truly exceptional on this global stage.
During this event, Peru will present its specialties through tastings at various coffee shops in Copenhagen. Moreover, a trade mission has been scheduled from June 24 to 26, involving 12 Peruvian companies visiting Scandinavian countries such as Norway and Sweden. A key moment will be the exclusive tasting session for the Norwegian Roasters Association (Norsk Kaffeinformasjon), offering a great opportunity to impress Nordic coffee experts!

Next stop: Specialty Coffee Expo 2025
In April 2025, we will be heading to Houston, Texas, for the Specialty Coffee Expo, hosted by the SCA. From April 25 to 27, Peruvian coffee producers will get the opportunity to display their products, network with industry experts, and stay updated on the newest coffee trends.
This event is more than just a showcase; it is also a platform for creating business opportunities. For instance, in the 2024 edition, Peruvian producers facilitated transactions totaling USD 33.8 million. This achievement underscores the significant potential and high quality of our specialty coffees.
Coffees from Peru
This name is not just any name—it symbolizes identity and quality. Introduced in 2018 by PROMPERU (the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Export and Tourism), this brand aims to highlight both traditional and specialty coffees from Peru. The footprint it features is not just a logo; it is an emblem of our coffee's origin and history. So, when you see this imprint, you will know you are enjoying something authentically Peruvian.
A bright future for Peruvian coffee
With these initiatives, our goal is clear: we aim for Peru to be acknowledged globally as a top producer of specialty coffee. Moreover, it is essential to emphasize that our products meet the stringent deforestation regulations of the European Union, demonstrating our strong commitment to sustainability.
Get ready because Peruvian coffee is set to conquer the world. With its quality, tradition, and commitment to sustainability, our coffee is not just a drink—it is an experience we are eager to share with the world. Cheers with Peruvian coffee!
Fact
Specialty coffee is grown under ideal climate and altitude conditions, enabling the development of distinctive and complex flavors. This coffee undergoes thorough evaluation by expert tasters, needing to score at least 80 out of 100 on a quality scale to qualify as specialty coffee. Unlike regular commercial coffee, specialty coffee is notable for its traceability, ensuring sustainable practices and fair trade that directly support the growers from farm to cup. It is a real delight for coffee enthusiasts who appreciate quality!
