FTA with India will boost exports of services

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Eduardo Ferreyros said that this agreement will offer important opportunities for Peruvian companies because they can access a market with a GDP of 2.091 billion dollars.

Ferreyros said that this agreement will not only reduce the tariffs faced by Peruvian products, but will also gain access to the Indian market of our services exports, such as gastronomic franchises, professional services and services related to information technology.

"There are already Peruvian investments in India, so we expect this agreement to consolidate its presence and open the door to new Peruvian investments in India", Ferreyros said.
