The Peruvian booth facilitated over 100 engagements between designers and buyers, representing the sole Latin American nation in attendance at the event.
Peruvian design's global ascent persists, highlighted by a noteworthy development emanating from the esteemed fashion hub of Paris. During its Fashion Week, spanning from February 29 to March 3, eight esteemed Peruvian brands showcased their creations at the renowned Tranoï exhibit.
Employing a strategic approach focused on elevating Peruvian designers and brands onto the global stage, the involvement of domestic brands in the event was orchestrated under the sectoral umbrella of "Alpaca del Peru".

At the Tranoï Show, Amarena, Ana G, Cornelio Borda, Fringe, Kero Design, Kuna, Pampa, and Susan Wagner showcased Peru's distinctive identity, contributing alongside 180 brands, 92 % of which hailed from international origins, presenting an array of original and innovative designs to attendees.
The Peruvian exhibit showcased an array of distinctive items, including the toquilla straw accessories from the Amarena brand, alpaca loom shoes and carpets by Cornelio Borda, pima cotton and silk tunics designed by Ana G, along with alpaca garments from Kero Design, Fringe, Pampa, and Kuna. Notably, Kuna's mastery in knitting has earned recognition from the international press.
Similarly, the booth garnered considerable acclaim from both French and international media outlets, facilitating 120 meetings between designers and buyers, predominantly representing multi-brand boutiques, concept stores, department stores, and online retailers in major global urban centers. Consequently, Peruvian entrepreneurs fostered a sum of 190 commercial connections, yielding business prospects valued at USD 421,100.
