We are still on top! The World Travel Awards 2023 ceremony, in its global edition, has just concluded and our country received two important awards: World's Leading Culinary Destination and World's Leading Cultural Destination. As in previous years, Peru is once again consolidating its position in both categories, reflecting the mystique and tradition that brings us so much pride as Peruvians.
In addition, these awards granted by the "Oscars of Tourism" are also a window to continue showing the world what is most beautiful in our country. So, more national and international visitors can enjoy it on their next trips.
During the Latin American edition of this important event, which took place in August, our country received four awards: South America's Leading Culinary Destination, South America's Leading Cultural Destination, South America's Leading Destination and South America's Leading Tourist Attraction for Machu Picchu.
Once again, we have consolidated our position at an international level due to our millenary heritage, natural beauty and unparalleled gastronomy that only our country has to offer. Let's celebrate this incredible triumph that we achieved together!
