Anali Gomez s 20-year career is a symbol of perseverance and dedication to sports. She learned to swim at a young age thanks to her father who is a fisherman. Then, in the sea, she discovered that surfing was her passion. She has won the ISA World Surfing Championship in 2014, one of her greatest achievements. In 2016, she was awarded with the Laurel Wreath in sports by the IPD (Peruvian Sports Institute), the highest sports institution in the country. This distinction makes her one of the greatest surfers in Peru and her name is now on the walls of the National Stadium which is a space reserved for our best athletes only.
