Adolfo Perret

He is from Talara, Piura, and owns restaurant chain "Punta Sal" which was awarded in 1994 with the International Trophy in Gastronomy, Hotels and Tourism in Madrid and the Trofeo Aregala (Association of restaurateurs and food writers of America and Spain). Adolfo took part on the preparation of "world's largest cebiche" in 1996 setting a new Guinness World Record. In 1998, Punta Sal restaurants received the International Gold Star for Quality in the category of cebiche specialties in Paris, France. Currently, Adolfo is the President of AHORA-PERU(Peruvian Association of Hotels, Restaurants and related services). He is also Director of the National Chamber of Tourism. With more than 25 years of career, he has participated in various food festivals in China, United States, Switzerland, Cuba, Russia, Chile, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina, and Italy, among others.
