Janet Wendy Ramos Rey

Wendy Ramos is social communicator, actress, clown, screenwriter, theater director and producer, and founder of the "Asociación Bolaroja". She started as a clown in 1991 as part of Pataclaun theater group, which later became a TV show, along with the also brand Ambassador Carlos Alcantara. In 2001 she created "Bolaroja" working towards social transformation through art and therapeutic clowning. Wendy still continues giving therapeutic and community clowning in South America and the United States. She has also represented Bolaroja doctors in Nicaragua, Russia, Easter Island, and Spain. The Ministry of Health of Peru named her health promoter in 2003, Ambassador against Tuberculosis in 2005, and she was the icon of mental health campaigns in 2008. She was named Distinguished Guest of Belen District in Iquitos in 2009, where a project called "Proyecto Belen" was being developed.
