She is a dancer and choreographer of ballet and contemporary dance. She is director of the Cultural Association D1. She studied in Cuba and Boston, and was prima ballerina at the Teatro Municipal de Lima (Lima s Municipal Theater). In Europe, Vania passed with honors exams at the Royal Academy of Dance in the UK, and dabbled successfully in contemporary dance with famous dancer Yvonne von Mollendorf, earning awards and recognition. However, at age 25 she left everything behind to return to Peru pursuing new objectives such as starting the group Angeles Arena, featuring young street acrobats, and founding the school and dance company D1-Dance. In 2012, she took part in the choreographic direction of musical Chicago. She then organized the International Festival of Urban Culture in Lima.
