Our country was once again a leading player in world excellence, after obtaining two important acknowledgements during the Eventex 2019 Awards gala, informed the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (PROMPERÚ).
The Casa Perú in Russia, a new strategy from Marca Perú, won first place in the cultural event category, while in the public event category it came in second place, only surpassed by the so-called "coolest skating rink" in Holland.
It should be noted that the Eventex Awards have for a decade been the most outstanding awards in the field and are recognized as a seal of quality. They are in addition considered "the Oscars of the world of events" by industry leaders and the specialized press.
These awards are given to event professionals, meeting planners, promoters and communication professionals around the world for their achievements in producing cutting-edge event experiences.

The Casa Perú promotion strategy contributes to the improvement of the country's image and Peru's international reputation in various areas of global importance such as tourism, exports and investments, among others.
This activity was used on three occasions during 2018, within the framework of the 23rd Winter Olympic Games (South Korea), at the South by Southwest Festival (United States) and during the FIFA World Cup (Russia).
It is important to point out that this experiential marketing campaign, devised by Marca Perú for the diffusion of the best of our country abroad, also won the Business Creativity Award 2018, in the Tourism and Recreation category.
