Madrid will once again become the gastronomic capital of the world. Madrid fusion 2017 will be held from 23 to 25 January at Madrid's "Palacio Municipal de Congresos". Throughout this important international event, the best chefs and professionals of the sector will announce their most exquisite dishes and the culinary innovations they achieved during the last year.
And of course, Peruvian cuisine is part of such an important gastronomy celebration. PROMPERU will make it possible, presenting Peru Country Brand's pavilion in Madrid Fusion 2017, tha will show the best of our cuisine to the world. In this way, we will try to repeat the success of the chefs' presentations in the previous editions of the fair.
Peru always shone in Madrid Fusion, thanks to the intervention of our most representative gastronomic ambassadors. In 2016 edition, Virgilio Martinez, chef and owner of the famous Peruvian restaurant Central, led the Peruvian delegation that stood out in Spanish lands.
Another clear example occurred in Madrid fusion 2015, when chefs such as Gastón Acurio, Mitsuharu Tsumura, Héctor Solís and Rafael Piqueras formed "The tiger milk gang", demonstrating that Peruvian food is one of the most delicious.
It is a fact that, like every year, our most outstanding chefs will leave the name of Peru high in Europe. Thanks to the Peruvian pavilion in Madrid Fusion 2017, our products, supplies and culinary techniques will be in the eyes of the world once again, confirming that we are owners of a leading gastronomy in the planet.
