Peru in the Asian market
The Asian market is a top priority for Peruvian fruit and vegetable exports. In 2023, Peru's primary exports included grapes, blueberries, and avocados, with key destinations being China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan.
China leads in importing Peruvian products, bringing in 103,300 tons valued at USD 308 million, followed by Hong Kong with 55,000 tons worth USD 197 million. Peru's participation in the fair further strengthens its presence in Asia, a market with significant potential and ongoing growth.
