Resounding success! At the recent Asia Fruit Logistica 2024 in Hong Kong, Peruvian agro-exporters secured USD 20 million in sales.
The most in-demand products included grapes, blueberries, avocados, mangoes, and pomegranates. In addition, sales projections suggest that an additional USD 100 million could be generated over the next 12 months. This accomplishment highlights the growing demand for Peruvian fruits in key markets like China, India, Japan, and Russia.
The 2024 edition, supported by PROMPERÚ and the Association of Peruvian Agricultural Producers' Guilds (AGAP), showcased the rising prominence of Peruvian fruits in Asia, reaffirming the country’s ability to thrive in international markets.

Outstanding participation of Peru
The Peruvian delegation, organized by PROMPERÚ in collaboration with AGAP, included major companies from the agro-export sector, representing regions such as Ica, Piura, La Libertad, Lima, and Lambayeque.
Over the three days of the event, Peruvian representatives held more than 400 business meetings with potential buyers, further solidifying the country's presence at Asia's leading fruit and vegetable trade fair.
Success beyond expectations
It was noted that Peruvian companies aimed to reach USD 80 million in projected sales, and surpassing that target underscores the high quality of Peruvian fruits. The success was truly remarkable, as USD 20 million in sales were achieved, exceeding expectations and positioning Peru as a key fruit producer for major markets like China and India.
