Peruvian Superfoods conquer Germany due to a digital campaign together with Foodboom
Peru is a natural pantry for the whole world and Germany is not the exception. Peruvian products are ceasing more and more to be a secret of the Andes to conquer palates at global level.
This time, in order to encourage the consumption of Peruvian superfoods in the German market and make their attributes for health known, a digital campaign together with the gastronomy platform Foodboom was carried out under the sector brand SuperFoods Peru, achieving to amaze the public for the variety of our products and their great quality.
Through an online format, which consisted in creating an audiovisual piece called “Home Office lunch” (lunch while teleworking at home) and a videoclip that shows the preparation of simple dishes in teleworking times, ideal for the current situation, when our home has become our workplace.
The protagonist was the Peruvian “causa”, but with a different ancestral product: quinoa. We bet on the versatility of this Andean grain that is part of our cultural legacy and inheritance for the future. And we were not wrong! The preparation of vegetarian “causa”, which is made of sweet potato, avocado, Sacha Inchi oil and white quinoa, was a success with audience from social media and Foodboom website during the month the campaign was carried out (December and January), not only making this dish known, but information about our superfoods and recipes.
In this way, blueberries, Sacha Inchi, maca, quinoa, ginger, sweet potato, fan shells, among others, were highlighted through our renowned gastronomy, showing how to use these products and how they can be introduced to a balanced and daily diet in the European market.
Positive comments from users demonstrate the great interest in the Peruvian cuisine in the German market and the potential of our natural products that fit very well in the new lifestyles, with a healthy predominance.
