Agriculture and fishing: two sectors with great potential for investments

Peru is one of the world's largest food pantries. Exports proposal attracts the interest of international entrepreneurs for its flagship products made by specialists and of a globally recognised quality. 

Perú its a very rich country when it comes to biodiversity. In Peru the following superfoods are cultivated and exported: quinoa, cacao, maca, kiwicha, tarwi, physalis ("aguaymanto"), among others. The world also shows interest in the riches of our sea due to responsible fishing practises and the readiness for direct human consumption.

Opportunities for investment in the fishing industry are available in different stages of the production: boat building, cold chains, product processing, logistics, aquaculture or pharmaceutical manufacturing like the production of Omega-3 from anchovy oil, among others.
