Industria Perú: The premier event for manufacturing exports

Industria Perú has established itself as a premier platform for Peruvian exporters to forge strategic connections with international buyers in the sector.

In its fifteenth edition, Industria Perú has become one of the most significant events in the Diverse Manufacturing sector, providing Peruvian companies with a valuable opportunity to expand their commercial horizons.

Over four days, Industria Perú brought together 110 foreign buyers and 107 Peruvian suppliers for more than 1,300 pre-scheduled business meetings. The event showcased products such as packaging and equipment for the food, personal care, and health industries, with an expected outcome of generating over USD 25 million in business opportunities.

A great success!

Since its inaugural edition in 2010, the event has facilitated approximately 15,687 business appointments between Peruvian companies and international buyers, with business expectations totaling over USD 822 million up to its most recent edition in 2023. These results highlight Industria Perú's crucial role in driving the growth of Peruvian foreign trade.

Industria Perú is also a perfect venue for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which represent 93 % of the participating suppliers. Among these companies, 29 % are new to exporting, offering them a unique chance to explore new markets and build valuable business connections. Additionally, 20 of these SMEs are taking part for the first time.

• The event has attracted international buyers from 22 countries.

• Most of these buyers are from South America, followed by Central America, North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. This diverse representation allows Peruvian exporters to access a global network of contacts and explore new opportunities in international markets.

• Industria Perú not only facilitates individual meetings but also includes industrial tours of 50 factories, offering a comprehensive view of the Diverse Manufacturing sector.

• The event maximizes commercial opportunities and enhances the global presence of Peruvian companies, positioning Peru as a key player in international trade.
