Peruvian coffee knows no boundaries. In a few years, this aromatic and delicious bean went from the farms of Peru to the tables of the whole world thanks to its unquestionable quality.

On this occasion, the global brand Nespresso, as part of its collection of specialties from different countries around the world, launched Master Origin Peru Organic, the first line of 100% organic coffee from the company, made with Peruvian coffee.

The quality and aroma of the Peru Organic coffee capsules surpass those from the rest of the world and production is based on centuries of artisan knowledge and respect for the planet.

As you know, coffee is one of the main agricultural exports of Peru. Some 223 thousand families, most of which are small producers, work in this area of more than 988,000 acres.

Find out how the Peruvian coffee supply chain works at this link.

Sustainable Agriculture

"With Peru Organic, Nespresso has taken another step in its commitment to the preservation of resources. Its certified organic coffee is grown without synthetic supplies and in strict compliance with sustainable agricultural practices that prohibit deforestation", states the website https://www.lefigaro.fr/.

Peru Organic seeds come from the northeast of Peru, on the slopes of the Andes, at an altitude of over 6,500 feet, which ensures a clean and ideal environment for producing the Arabica variety.

The beans are harvested by hand and then dried. Local farmers use natural fertilizers such as coffee pulp or banana peel. This organic label is an additional guarantee of traceability and sustainability for consumers.

The result is a high quality, fruity coffee with toasted grain notes that linger in the mouth for a long time.

Healthy Technology

Peru Organic's sustainable production is part of the Nespresso AAA Program for Sustainable Quality, launched in 2003 in partnership with the Rainforest Alliance NGO. The program has brought together more than 100,000 coffee growers from 15 countries around the world.

The purpose is to support farmers in growing high-quality coffee. To reduce and offset CO2 emissions, the company has chosen agroforestry practices: more than 500,000 trees are planted on coffee farms every year.

Peru Organic gives consumers the guarantee of a carbon neutral organic coffee. Peru Organic coffee capsules are made of 100% recyclable aluminum.

You can order the delicious Peru Organic brand through the following link.

Details:

To promote its range of organic coffee, Nespresso uses the services of the "Gravity" actor, George Clooney, who appears in many of the global brand’s spots. You can see the most recent of these at this link.
