Peru showcased the best of its cuisine and superfoods at the RC Show 2020, Canada’s top food and drinks fair, reported the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (PROMPERU).
As the guest of honor, Peru also hosted the opening evening on Sunday, March 1. This presentation included the participation of Peruvian artists, and guests were able to sample Peruvian cocktails and aperitifs.
Meanwhile, prestigious chefs Jorge Bahamonde and Guillermo Russo, who were part of the Peruvian delegation, carried out several culinary demonstrations using Peruvian superfoods. In addition, well-renowned sommelier Gregory Smith shared his experiences preparing Pisco cocktails.
Peru enjoys great prestige worldwide for its superfoods. That’s why at the RC Show it presented its most noteworthy products: quinoa, maca, purple corn, aguaymanto, cocoa, coffee, grapes, mango, fish oil, among others.
