Peru continues to receive recognition! The gastronomy campaign "The lost flavor” was recognized at various meetings that are part of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT), an entity that brings together tourism film festivals and awards the most prestigious prizes in the tourism promotional video industry in the world.
The Commission for the Promotion of Peruvian Exports and Tourism (PROMPERU) reported that the campaign was awarded as the Best Latin Documentary Film at the 16th Art&Tur International Tourism Film Festival; the silver trophy in the Tourism, Travel and Adventure category at the 14th Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards (with almost 900 candidacies from 45 countries); and second place in the Best Documentary Film category at the Zagreb Tourfilm Festival (with almost 130 candidacies from 38 countries).
The lost flavor is an initiative that aims to strengthen the positive tourism and gastronomic image of our country, generating confidence in the tourism sector and strategic international markets. In addition, it seeks to continue positioning the country as an ideal destination for food lovers and Lima as the Gastronomic Capital of Latin America.
The campaign is being deployed in the United States, Mexico, Colombia and Chile, strategic markets for our tourism industry, through an advertising strategy in digital media, social media and outdoor advertising, as well as the implementation of a campaign minisite.
