Portal Time Out highlighted various classic Peruvian dishes, including Cebiche, Lomo Saltado and more.
Absolutely amazing! Once again, our national cuisine shines on the international stage. This time, Time Out has published a ranking of the 20 best cities in the world for food, and Lima has secured a top spot. The publication insists that if you visit Lima, you absolutely must try the Cebiche.

Similarly, the Pisco Sour, along with dishes like Lomo Saltado and Arroz con Pollo (rice with chicken), were highlighted as must-tries when visiting the Peruvian capital. Time Out also noted that Lima is home to the best restaurant in the world: Central, run by Virgilio Martínez.
The publication highlights the versatility of the iconic dish, Cebiche. It shows that Cebiche can be enjoyed in both five-star restaurants and at street stalls, also known as “carretillas.”

According to Time Out, this list was created based on the opinions of the locals, highlighting each city's must-try dish and its value for money. Notably, the ranking also features cities like Naples, Johannesburg, Ho Chi Minh City, Beijing, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai, Dubai, Liverpool, Seville, and Marrakech.
