Peruvian cuisine in style! Perú Mucho Gusto, an initiative by PROMPERÚ, will gather over 150 exhibitors from across the country, showcasing the rich culinary traditions, handicrafts, and tourist attractions of each region. The central theme, "Flavors with History, " aims to highlight the connection between cultural heritage and the diverse ingredients that define Peruvian gastronomy.
Flavors with history
Visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of delicacies, including iconic dishes such as juane chachapoyano, chaufa amazónico, adobo cusqueño, and Cebiche de conchas negras. Additionally, there will be themed areas dedicated to desserts, beverages, artisanal products, and more. Attendees can also look forward to spaces for digital activations, relaxation, activities for children, and artistic performances.
This year's fair aims to strengthen its commitment to sustainability by becoming a Carbon Neutral event. It will feature biodegradable utensils and establish recycling stations. Environmental volunteers will assist visitors in properly sorting waste and promote the "¡Recicla Ya!" (Recycle Now!) campaign by the Ministry of the Environment (Minam).
