Both local and international visitors enjoyed one of the world’s most celebrated cuisines.
The latest edition of Perú Mucho Gusto Lima 2024 has established itself as one of the country’s most successful gastronomic events. Held at the Costa Verde Esplanade in Magdalena del Mar, the event drew over 182,000 visitors, offering a unique experience in Peru's culinary and cultural richness. Attendees from all country regions enjoyed a diverse array of traditional dishes.
From Thursday, October 31, to Sunday, November 3, the fair served as a vibrant showcase of local gastronomy, featuring over 150 stands with iconic dishes like rice with Chiclayan duck, seco de cabrito with beans, spicy guinea pig, and Cebiche, among many others.
An array of desserts and drinks was also available, highlighting the diverse ingredients that define Peruvian cuisine. The 50,000-square-meter venue included themed areas dedicated to handicrafts, local products, bakeries, and travel agencies, showcasing the country’s rich cultural offerings.

Flavors with history
This year’s edition aimed to spotlight not only the flavors of Peru but also the cultural heritage embedded in each dish. Attendees had the chance to join master classes led by renowned Peruvian chefs, baristas, and bartenders. Artistic performances were also central to the experience, with live shows by national talents like Alvaro Rod, Los Kipus, and Amaranta, among others, adding vibrancy to the fair and celebrating Peru’s rich cultural legacy.

Award winning exhibitors
The event not only stood out for the massive participation, but also for the recognition of exhibitors who promoted innovation and culinary tradition. Some of the winners were Campodrim from Ucayali, with the award for "Most loved drink," and Pampa from Ica, with the most loved dish, "Adobo con puré de pallares." Other prizes were awarded to initiatives such as juane de yuca de Tuyuyo from Ucayali and the Prusia restaurant from Pasco, which stood out for its contribution to gastronomic tourism.
