Steady on! A total of 37 specialty coffee producers from the Amazonas, San Martin, and Cajamarca regions engaged in commercial negotiations with buyers from Asia, Oceania, Europe, and North America during the II Business Meeting of Coffee Growers, held in Chachapoyas, Amazonas.
Producers from San Martin, Cajamarca, and Amazonas had the chance to learn about the export market and participate in this business roundtable with 16 buyers from Japan, China, South Korea, Australia, Poland, France, and the United States, who were very enthusiastic about the event.
Organized by the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (PROMPERU) and coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), this event achieved impressive results: in 245 commercial meetings, sales reached USD 418,000, with a sales expectation of USD 5 million for the next 12 months.
