We continue to grow! Up to USD 18.8 million was expected to be sold as a result of the export and tourism business roundtable, which took place within the framework of Expo Perú Brasil 2023. The event took place between March 21 and 22 in the city of Sao Paulo, informed the Commission for the Promotion of Peruvian Exports and Tourism (PROMPERU).
USD 16.6 million of the aforementioned total, corresponds to exports and USD 2.2 million to tourism, which will be realized in the following twelve months. This is the result of 979 business appointments, in which 78 Peruvian and 205 Brazilian companies participated. There were various activities, such as cooking master classes, promotion of Pisco, promotion of tourism, among others.
In this way, the objective of contributing to the strengthening of trade relations between Peru and Brazil is met, promoting business development between Peruvian export and tourism companies and importers of Brazilian products and services.
Export inputs
Among the most requested export products were olives, quinoa, frozen squid, baby clothes, men's clothing and mining supplier sector items associated with disaster risks.
