Peru participates in the new edition of IMEX Madrid

Peruvian offer for the world! Peru continues to participate uninterruptedly in the Impulso Exterior Fair (IMEX) in Madrid, Spain. This meeting, which takes place on February 8 and 9, is one of the main investment markets in the Iberian country, informed the Commission for the Promotion of Peruvian Exports and Tourism (PROMPERU). Since the creation of PROMPERU's commercial office in Spain, the country's participation has been continuous, with the exception of those editions that were affected by the global economic situation. The inclusion of Peru in this edition is of utmost importance, not only because of the face-to-face conferences but also because this event is a platform for generating professional contacts and new partners. In this way, the successful internationalization of Spanish companies to attractive destinations in the world, such as Peru, is promoted. It should be noted that the IMEX fair has had more than 106,000 participants from 127 countries in its 45 editions. This has resulted in more than 124 meetings in 1,576 conferences, being the ideal scenario for the presentation of business and investment opportunities in our country.

• The activity will also serve to promote the main trade fairs and business rounds organized in Peru, such as the Perú Service Summit, Expoalimentaria, Perumin and Perú Moda & Deco, among others.
• The main public and private organizations linked to trade and business investment participate in the IMEX Fair: national, regional and international promotion agencies such as ICEX, Chambers of Commerce, guilds and industry associations, embassies, banks, insurance companies, law firms, consulting firms, among others; as well as potential investors and the international press.
