Passion for karate
Alexandra started practicing karate at the early age of seven, initially just as a hobby. “As a child, I saw it more as a pastime. But my perspective changed when I saw the names of Peruvian sports personalities at the National Stadium. I asked my mother about them, and she told me they were world-renowned athletes. I told her, 'I want to be there,' and my mother replied that I could make it, she recalls. From that moment on, I was clear about my goal of becoming a successful athlete.”
The impact of sports on her life
