Additionally, he complemented his studies with several professional practices at the prominent Casa Saint Laurent. When he returned to Peru, he began to design his own lines, divided between the Atelier for man and woman costumes and the Jose Miguel Valdivia Collection, which he developed with a particular style that could be considered as a syncretism of fashion. He also provides consultancy in product development and design of collections for various textile and garment companies, among other services. He also collaborates in different projects for the development of artisans and micro companies, seeking their commercial insertion in international markets, directing these products towards high quality. He has been invited to participate in campaigns to promote the fine fibers of Alpaca and Vicuña in important cities.
