Magaly Solier

Magaly Solier is an actress and singer-songwriter who has demonstrated his penchant for singing and acting since an early age. In 2003 and 2004 she was the winner of the 10th and 11th edition of Festival de la Canción (Song Festival) in his hometown Ayacucho. Magaly debuted as an actress in the Peruvian film "Madeinusa". For her excellent performance she was awarded for best actress at the 2006 Cartagena de Indias Film Festival in Colombia and at the Festivalissimo - Ibero-Latin American Festival of Montreal in Canada. Her second film, "The Milk of Sorrow", won the 2009 Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival. In 2010, the Spanish film Amador was released with Magaly as the first Peruvian actress in a leading role in European productions. Her performance in this film won her the award for Best Actress at the Guadalajara International Film Festival. Regarding her musical career, she has released two albums so far: "Warmi" (2009) and "Coca Quintucha" (2015).
