World of Coffee 2024: Peruvian coffee shines in Norway and Sweden

Warming up! Before the World of Coffee 2024 fair in Denmark, eight Peruvian coffee companies are participating in a Trade Mission to Oslo, Norway, and Stockholm, Sweden.

On June 24, a coffee tasting event featuring Peruvian coffee samples was hosted by the Oslo Roasters Association. The following day, June 25, a similar tasting event occurred at the Canta Loca restaurant in Stockholm.
Coffee expert Soren Sylvest, who heads the Cup of Excellence judging panel, will join these tastings. In Oslo, Marit Lynes, General Manager of Norsk Kaffeinformasjon, and Gustavo Laurie, Peruvian Ambassador to Norway, will take part in the event. Meanwhile, in Stockholm, Miguel Samanez, Ambassador of Peru to Sweden and Denmark, will attend the tasting session.

The agenda continues on Wednesday, June 26, with visits to five roasteries and coffee shops in Copenhagen: "The Artisan," "La Cabra," "April Coffee," "Coffee Collective," and "Europa Kaffee."
On Thursday, June 27, the World of Coffee, Europe's biggest coffee fair, kicks off. The 2024 edition is set to be the largest ever, boasting over 400 exhibitors and expecting 10,000 attendees from 130+ countries worldwide.
