The Peruvian flavor fair! From October 31 to November 3, the country's biggest culinary event, Perú Mucho Gusto fair, will be held at the Esplanade of the Costa Verde in Magdalena del Mar district.
Perú Mucho Gusto aims to promote tourism by showcasing regional cuisines and providing a platform for tourism entrepreneurs, artisans, and public institutions.

WHAT'S NEW
For the 2024 Perú Mucho Gusto event in Lima, there is a planned national and international publicity campaign. The spotlight will shine on foreign markets, especially targeting Latin American regions, given the diverse offer of flights to Lima.
This year's Perú Mucho Gusto will also take place in Tacna from July 26 to 28, coinciding with Independence Day celebrations.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Perú Mucho Gusto Lima 2023 welcomed 40,000 visitors over three days and saw direct sales totaling around 1.1 million soles from the restaurant and handicrafts areas alone. The event also sparked an economic boost of 7 million soles in total.
Since 2008, the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (PROMPERU) has been organizing this fair, which is open to the public free of charge. Since its inception, 24 events have been held across 11 regions of the country, attracting over 1,650 entrepreneurs and 603,000 attendees, both from Peru and abroad.

After the successful 2023 event, PROMPERU and the Magdalena del Mar District Municipality signed an agreement on June 6. This agreement allows the fair to be hosted in the bustling district of Lima.
