"Perú Mucho Gusto" Fair to delight taste buds in Tacna

For the second year in a row, a famous culinary event will take place in Peru's "heroic city."
¡Impressive! From July 26 to 28, Tacna will host the renowned gastronomic fair "Perú Mucho Gusto" at Parque Peru (Peru Park) in the Pocollay district, located in the southern region.
This year, 2024, marks the 25th anniversary of the country's most important culinary event. It brings together regional exhibitors from the food industry, as well as business leaders and entrepreneurs in tourism, handicrafts, and Peruvian production.

To attract travelers from southern Peru and tourists from Chile, this edition of "Perú Mucho Gusto" will feature a unique advertising display. Additionally, there will be a wide variety of typical dishes from all regions of the country.

The "Perú Mucho Gusto" fair has been organized by the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (PROMPERU) since 2008, and it offers free admission. The most recent event in Tacna took place in 2023, attracting 45,000 attendees, both locals and visitors from abroad. With 119 exhibitors, the fair boosted the southern region's economy by more than PEN 10 million.
