Peru will host the important international forum SAHIC Latin America & The Caribbean 2024

We are hosts! Lima will host the eighteenth edition of SAHIC Latin America & The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Investment Forum, an event that brings together the most important players in the hotel development industry in the region and has positioned itself as one of the most effective spaces for generating business related to the sector.

During March 11 and 12, conferences, roundtables, networking sessions and one-on-one meetings will be held with the participation of investors, representatives of investment funds and financial institutions, hotel entrepreneurs and public officials from more than 30 countries.

The organizers of SAHIC Latin America & The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Investment Forum revealed the first speakers. During the morning of the first day, Reinier Schliesser, principal economist of the Development Bank of Latin America and graduate of the School of Public Policy and Government of Harvard University (Kennedy School of Government) will present the lecture "A Global Economy Glimpse".

For her part, Patricia Boo, senior area director of the prestigious consulting firm STR, will offer “What's the existing status of the hotel industry in Latin America and the Caribbean region?” In addition, Damián Tabakman, entrepreneur, educator, speaker, and industry leader, widely recognized throughout Latin America as one of the most influential figures in the real estate sector, will offer the conference “Generating Value: Exploring the Impact of Hospitality on Real Estate Development.”

In addition, the SAHIC conference reserves a special place in its business program to address a key issue on the agenda of the sector and the world: Climate Change. This year, specialist Camila Rodriguez Taylor, climate advisor senior at the International Development Bank (IDB Invest) and master in Climate Change at Yale University, will present the latest relevant data and a call-to-action reminder to the SAHIC audience as decision-makers and industry makers, and the change the planet needs.
