Peru will host the most important meeting of hotel investors

On March 11 and 12, 2024, Lima, the capital of Peru, will host the eighteenth edition of SAHIC Latin America & The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Investment Forum. This event brings together the most important players in the hospitality industry in the region. The meeting, which will be held at The Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center, in the district of San Isidro, has positioned itself as one of the most effective spaces for the generation of business related to the sector.

More than 300 people are expected to participate, including investors, representatives of investment funds and financial institutions, hotel entrepreneurs, and public officials from more than 30 countries. The agenda of the event includes the dissertation of more than 50 specialized speakers and the realization of work tables, networking sessions and one-to-one meetings.

For this edition, SAHIC Latin America & The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Investment Forum has the participation of PROMPERU as a strategic partner to consolidate the image of Peru as an attractive destination for investments in Latin America, highlighting its favorable environment for foreign direct investment in the tourism industry.

The organizing group reported that, in the next weeks, it will release more details about the event’s agenda, pointing out that, in addition to PROMPERU, the hotel brands Wyndham, Hyatt, Marriott, BWH Hotels, the Aimbridge LATAM operator and the main Peruvian chambers of the sector, such as Canatur and the Peru's Hotel Society (SHP, by its Spanish acronym) are participating.
