The arrival of the container ship “Xin Shanghai” at the Port of Chancay on December 18 represents a milestone in maritime trade between Peru and Asia. Completing the journey in a record 23 days, this direct connection strengthens the bilateral relationship with one of the world's most dynamic markets.

Through its strategic campaign in China, PROMPERÚ showcases Peru’s competitive advantages to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) and boost exports. According to “fDi Markets” by the “Financial Times”, China ranks as the third-largest investor in Peru, with investments exceeding USD 13 billion since 2003, driving economic growth and creating jobs.
