Switzerland tops the charts for chocolate consumption per person, with 11 kilos per year. Interestingly, this country aims to make all its cocoa imports sustainable by 2030.
However, in the last five years, Peruvian exports of cocoa and its products to the European country have tripled, reaching over USD 12 million by 2023. In this regard, it is also expected to promote Swiss imports of fine cocoa with Peruvian aroma.
